Teddy Bear Clinic

Join us in our Bloom U classroom in Southfield, Michigan as we partner with Michigan State University College of Medicine students for a hands-on Teddy Bear Clinic!

Designed for curious kids ages 5–10, this playful event helps young learners understand what happens during a doctor’s visit—and helps ease any anxiety your child may have about seeing a healthcare provider.

Children bring their favorite teddy bear or “stuffy friend” to explore topics like heart & lung health, bone health, nutrition, vaccines, germs, and the five senses through fun, interactive stations. Guided by future doctors, kids gain confidence, ask questions, and learn healthy habits in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
