Body Basics for Boys
*For boys ages 8+ and a trusted adult
School covers some basics, but that doesn’t always mean boys get the chance to ask the questions they’re really curious about. Turning Teen creates a safe, friendly space where boys can learn, talk, and feel more comfortable about the changes ahead.
In this class, they'll explore:
How their bodies work and the different parts
The ways boys' and girls' bodies change and how they're different
Respect for their own bodies and the bodies of others
The emotions that come with puberty and how to handle them

Girls Body Care
*For girls ages 10+ and a trusted adult
Puberty is a big adventure and it can feel a little confusing when your body starts to change in so many ways. The good news? You don’t have to figure it out alone! This class helps girls learn what’s happening, ask questions, and feel confident in their own skin.
Here’s what we’ll cover (in a fun, real-talk way):
Finding the right bra and feeling good in it
Why our bodies sweat and how to stay fresh
Hair here, there, and everywhere—what’s normal and what’s up to you
Skin care tips for healthy, glowing skin
Building confidence and self-respect from the inside out
Periods and period care, with a hands-on demo using pads and tampons

Body Basics for Girls
*For girls ages 8+ and a trusted adult
School might cover some of the basics, but kids don’t always get the chance, or feel comfortable enough, to ask the questions on their minds. That’s where Turning Teen comes in. In our welcoming, supportive environment, girls get real answers to the things they’re most curious about.
What they'll explore:
Understanding bodies and how they work
How boys' and girls' bodies are different
The changes puberty brings - inside and out
Respecting their own bodies and others'
An introduction to periods and what to expect
