Body Basics for Girls
In-Person Workshop, For Girls Ages 8+ and a Trusted Adult
School may cover some of the basics, but many kids still have questions they don’t feel comfortable asking. That’s where Turning Teen comes in. Held in person at the Bloom U classroom in Southfield, Michigan, this welcoming and supportive class helps girls get real answers in a safe, age-appropriate environment.
In this engaging puberty workshop, girls will explore:
Understanding their bodies and how they work
The differences between boys’ and girls’ bodies
The physical and emotional changes that come with puberty
Respecting their own bodies and the bodies of others
An introduction to periods and what to expect
This fun, informative session helps girls build knowledge, confidence, and respect as they navigate the early stages of puberty with their trusted adult.
