Heartsaver Heroes

60-Minute Workshop | Ages 7–11

In this interactive Bee Prepared Academy workshop, kids learn how to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies with confidence. Led by a Bloom Pediatrics Nurse or Nurse Practitioner, Heartsaver Heroes introduces essential CPR and emergency response skills in a way that’s engaging, approachable, and age-appropriate.

Participants will explore the Chain of Survival and learn when and how to take action in an emergency. Kids will practice hands-only CPR, be introduced to infant and child CPR with an AED, and learn how to locate an AED in public spaces. The class also teaches how to recognize the signs of choking and what to do to help someone safely.

Through guided practice and real-life scenarios, kids will leave with a strong foundation in lifesaving skills—and the confidence to act when every second counts.
