In this hands-on Bee Prepared Academy workshop exclusively at Bloom U, kids learn how to help in everyday emergencies with confidence and care.

Led by our Bloom Pediatrics Nurses and Nurse Practitioners, First Aid Squad introduces essential safety and first aid skills in a fun, age-appropriate way including:

• When it’s important to call 911

• How to respond to someone who is injured

• How to properly care for minor wounds like cuts and scrapes

The workshop also covers how to prevent and treat common outdoor injuries and how to help themselves and other kids stay safe while they play outside and explore.

To bring it all together, kids will get a guided tour of their own first aid kit to bring home and continue practicing their skills so they’re ready to help when it matters most.
